Khangas are traditional carriers. They are printed on rolls and typically raw cut when sold at market. Some people choose to sew a hem, some don’t and have no issue wearing their babies. Traditional wearing puts the bottom edge almost three to seven inches under the baby, so raw bottom edges will never be weight bearing.
There are several sizes of khangas. We mostly carry 3 sizes:
The 42”x58” Khangas are a little more light weight than the larger khangas.
The 44"x62" Khangas are the standard size and the ones most commonly worn.
The Doti - Dotis are 2 panels of the standard khangas that have not been separated. These are great for plus size baby wearers.
